AAFCO stands for Association of American Feed Control Officials. Zignature® recipes are formulated to meet all nutrient levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles. This certifies that Zignature® is a nutritionally complete product that can be fed to your pet as the sole ration without adding any other substance other than water.
Zignature® Goat Formula has been formulated to meet the nutrient levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages, including growing large dogs (70 lbs or more at age adult).

Recommendations:
PUPPIES Feed up to 2 times per pound of body weight compared to adult levels.
PREGNANT FEMALE Minimum increase required during the first 6 weeks. Weeks 7, 8 and 9 increase up to 25%.
LACTATING FEMALE Immediately after farrowing, nutritional demand increases by 50% over maintenance levels. During peak lactation (about 4-5 weeks), increase feeding to 300% of regular intake. Feed in 3 equal meals per day.
When changing your dog's diet, we recommend that you do so gradually over 5-7 days, increasing the amount each day with the current diet, as a sudden change in diet can lead to digestive upset.
