Feeding Guide
PREFERRED METHOD (wet food)
Mix the recommended dose with your bird's favorite greens, vegetables and fruits or sprinkle it on food. Do not mix the supplement with a standard seed mix since much of the powder settles at the bottom of the bowl, while the amount that will cover the seeds may be washed away when removing the empty seed husks. Since the bird's favorite wet food absorbs the powder, the bird is encouraged to eat all of the treated food, allowing only a small dose to be administered.
Daily dose to add to wet food :

Small birds - 0.5 cm 3 per day (canaries, cockatiels, finches, lovebirds, budgies)
Medium-sized birds - 1 cm 3 per day (Goffin's cockatoo, loris, miniature macaws, mourning martins, piones, lesser amazons, straight-billed birds, jaco parrot, etc.)
Large birds - 1.5 cm 3 per day (African greys, amazons, cockatoos, macaws, toucans, etc.)
ALTERNATIVE METHOD (water to drink)
Since the body weight requirements of small birds are higher than those of large birds, the same dose can be given to all pet birds. Fresh water should be provided daily and any remaining food should be removed. Add the desired dose to a clean bowl or mixing container. Add water and mix well. The Supplement will turn from a milky suspension to a light yellow color in minutes. Some particles can remain in suspension or settle on the bottom without however being dangerous.
NOTE
The Prime supplement contains a high level of calcium and essential amino acids. The solution is therefore not entirely water-soluble. Additionally, the sulfur molecule from the amino acids will be released by the beneficial bacteria after six hours in the solution. You should therefore change the water twice a day when the temperature is hot in order to reduce bad smells, which are however harmless.
