The Exo Terra Stone Desert substrate allows you to create your own desert or savanna landscaping. It can effectively be used to fashion cool, moist burrows that allow reptiles, while sleeping or hiding, to obtain much-needed moisture through skin absorption.
The substrate also allows for the design of warm, elevated places to bask, thereby providing reptiles with significant temperature gradients for thermoregulation.
