Applying a topical treatment is important for controlling flea infestations. Parapet K9 Praventa 360® for Extra Large Dogs will control fleas and ticks on a dog weighing more than 25 kg within one day after treatment and will continue to protect against new infestations for at least four weeks.
Reapply monthly for continued pest control in situations where the risk of reinfestation by fleas or ticks is persistent. Otherwise, the treatment should be repeated only if the problems reappear. If re-treatment is needed before four weeks, use pest control products with alternative active ingredients and other pest control methods. PRECAUTIONS: HUMANS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May irritate eyes. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with animals until product is dry. Wear rubber gloves when applying the product. After handling or applying the product, wash your hands (or any other part of the body that has come into contact with the product) with soap and water. This product is very toxic to fish. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
PETS: Toxic to cats. Cats grooming themselves or in close proximity to recently treated dogs risk serious injury, even death. The use of any pet pesticide can produce sensitivity. Smaller animals are more likely to experience adverse effects. Watch carefully. Consult a veterinarian before using on sick, aged animals, pregnant or nursing animals, or animals receiving medical or pesticide treatment. Do not use on dogs under 12 weeks old. FIRST AID: HUMANS: IF SWALLOWED, call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
IF IN EYES, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. If present, remove contact lenses after 5 minutes and continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING, take off contaminated clothing. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Take the container label or note the product name and registration number with you when seeking medical attention.
PETS: If there are signs of sensitivity, bathe the animal by adding a mild soap to the water, then rinse with plenty of water. If signs of sensitivity persist, consult a veterinarian immediately. INFORMATION
