THREE (3) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The Fluval FX4 Canister Filter is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal aquarium use for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. The three (3) year limited warranty applies to all non-replaceable parts, which means that the filter will be repaired or replaced free of charge, at Hagen's option, when the complete filter is returned, postage prepaid and accompanied by all its components and a valid proof of purchase. This warranty does not apply to any filter which has been used improperly, negligently or which has been modified. It does not apply to filters that have been improperly assembled or maintained, or for which installation and maintenance instructions have not been followed correctly. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear on parts such as the impeller, impeller cover, or motor O-ring. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for loss of aquatic organisms or damage to personal property for any reason. Before returning the filter under warranty conditions, please ensure that all installation and maintenance instructions have been followed exactly. If in doubt, please contact your local aquarium specialty retailer before returning the item.
