Fluval U-Series Submersible Filters are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years under normal aquarium use and service. The warranty applies to all non-replaceable parts, which means that the filter will be repaired or replaced free of charge, at the manufacturer's discretion, once the complete filter has been returned, postage prepaid, and accompanied by proof of purchase. . This warranty does not apply if the filter has been used improperly or negligently, or if it has been modified. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to living organisms and personal property, however caused.
