Shedding in dogs and cats - March 23, 2022
Moulting in dogs and cats is regular or accentuated hair loss. Dog and cat hair grows, like your hair, then dies and falls out. Moulting is concentrated twice a year in spring and autumn during major changes in temperature and the number of hours of sunshine during the day.
Indoor cats also moult, but this is less abundant and is rather continuous throughout the year.
