One in three cats is an alien!
According to this newspaper article written by F. Garceau, Grand Reporter, we can read this:

Mr. de Brissin reassures us: “They are very harmless! They are easily recognized at first, they stare humans in the eye. Then they love television and music. finally they are runaways because they find themselves among themselves, for sorts of meetings of extraterrestrial cats.
“Other than that they are cuddles, purrs and its harmless.”
